The MEMOIR of a photographer
Hi, I'm Michael "Millie" Onyewuchi, a Nigerian based photographer and the founder of Milliegraphy. Born and raised in Lagos State, I have always been an enthusiast and lover of all forms of art, long before I even ventured into photography. I believe the world without art is like a world in black and white.
Photography for me is like a continuous process of learning and execution, and also a mixture of instinct, creativity, talent and skill in varying degrees of proportion. I believe anyone can take pictures but not just anyone can be a photographer.
I've always realized I love photography and visual arts, but certain pivotal circumstances made me take the decision to turn my hobby and interest into a skillset and career. So far, I can say it is one of the best decisions I ever made and I'm just getting started.
I retain a steadfast dedication to the art of photography and visual arts. I aspire to push through limitations on self and brand expression through innovative and creative visual storytelling while capturing and revealing the natural essence and soul of my clients and subjects. As I always say, "there are no limitations to expression!"
